AP Calculus AB is a course endorsed by the College Board which gives high school students an opportunity to receive credit for the first semester of calculus in the typical college calculus sequence. Calculus is the study of the mathematics of instantaneous change.
Calculus was invented as a solution to many long-pondered questions in mathematics. Calculus was invented almost simultaneously by two famous mathematicians, Issac Newton and Gottfried Leibniz.
