PIKE CENTRAL MATH DEPARTMENT
PROBLEM OF THE MONTH

The Pike Central High School Math Department is proud to offer the "Problem of the Month" contest.  This contest is open to any student in grades 9-12 at Pike Central High School.  Students may submit solo solutions or may work in groups of no more than three.

Hard copies of the current POTM are available outside room A121 (Mr. Bowman's room) or on this page.

These problems are meant to be challenging, fun, and interesting, and should be accessible to a wide-range of students.  Have fun!

Solutions to the current POTM are due in Mr. Bowman's room on the date listed on the POTM sheet.  Solutions will be posted the following week.  Students who are successful in solving the POTM will be honored in the daily bulletin and on this site.  Also, any student who solves 6 or more of the POTMs during the school year will be honored as a "Pike Central Math Problem of the Month All-Star."
